Avian Electrolythes
Zoo-med's Avian Eletrolytes is recommended for birds experiencing a period of stress or that are taking medication or in the recovery phase following an illness. Avian Electrolytes regulate hydration, the activity of nerves and muscles as well as the functions of body cells. This product also contains Vitamin C, beta caroten, Vitamin B, probiotic and prebiotic. Safe to use with a daily multivitamin.
Directions: Add one scoop (spoon included) per cup of drinking water and mix well. Offer your bird another source of water without electrolyte the first few times, to ensure that it still drinks. For stressed birds, offer this solution for 5 consecutive days. The solution must be redone every day, even if the bird has not drunk it all. For use on a regular basis, offer the mixture 3 days a week. Always redo the solution each time.
