Wax melt Gingerbread
Most candles contain ingredients that are toxic for birds. That’s because birds have highly efficient respiratory systems, and any chemical in the air will be absorbed by their bodies very quickly. Many unknowing bird owners have tragically lost their beloved pets by burning candles or using chemical air fresheners in their homes. Regular candles often contain paraffin wax, which helps to throw the scent further, and also drives the cost of the candle down. As many as 85% of “soy” candles actually have paraffin wax mixed in. Most candles also contain UV blockers, which help the candle to maintain its color. Some also contain phthalates, an odorless chemical that also helps to throw the scent.
This a safe soy wax you can use beside your pet bird, dog, cat and other animal. Avian vetenary approuved.
