This is good, all-natural, healthy food. My birds have been thriving on it for 20 years. I especially like getting it from La Voliere, because they package it properly and it arrives in good shape, not all broken into tiny bits.
My Pionus and my Senegal have been eating Roudybush as their main diet since they were old enough to eat. One of them is 22 years old, the other is 16. Both are healthy, and the vet always says their weight is perfect. Great, natural food! Also, when you buy it from La Voliere they pack it and ship it so that it arrives in good condition without the pellets being all broken up. I've bought it from other stores and by the time it gets here half the contents of the bag have been broken down to tiny crumbles...frustrating and expensive since this stuff is a bit pricey.
Excellent food! My conure and my Pionus have been eating RoudyBush for over two years now, love the taste and are in excellent health. My Avian vet recommends Roudybush and sells some at her clinic. I highly recommend it!
When we got our black-capped conure, she stopped eating the Kaytee pellets that she was weaned onto. We got concerned and bought a bag of Roudybush crumbles and she took to it immediately! We have tried pretty much every other pellet out there afterwards to see what she'd like best. She would not touch anything else but Roudybush pellets. It is probably not the best pellet out there but our little Izzy loves it. I would recommend the crumbles size. I think the nibbles would be too small and any larger can be a waste if your bird is a messy eater.
Have been feeding the small sized roudybush pellets to my pionus for years now. She loves the maintenance as well as the California blend. Always pleased with the service and speed of delivery as well.
