My budgies love Avicake! However they will only eat them if they are soft. A good way to soften these is to put a slice of fresh bread in and seal it. After about 12 hours the food is soft. The bread doesn’t go mouldy. I can’t find avicake fruit anywhere in Manitoba, I am so happy to have found it here!
My budgies really like Avi Cakes. I was excited to try this fruit flavour, but the product was hard and difficult to break up. I’m not sure if it’s because of the fruit. I will try again. The budgies refuse it if it’s hard. : (
I'm so glad you decided to stock this product. I buy it from a local petstore that is out of my way so even though it is a few dollars more, I will be adding it to my order from now on. This is an excellent treat; all of my birds really enjoy it.
