This is such a great travel cage and is very, very well made by Kings Cages. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. It will last for a really long time being aluminum and rust-free. We have a small black-capped conure and this size is just perfect for her. There aren't very many left so I recommend you jump at the chance you see this in stock! The only negative is that the tray can be pushed into the cage from below which should rarely happen. But, you can easily remedy that by installing bolts/nuts with washers at each corner to keep it in place.
This is the best carrying cage money can buy. I use it to take my brown head to vet visits, rides in the car or to his sitters and it works perfectly. He can see what's going on, its easy for him to get in and out and its light. You'll be impressed with the ultra high quality of this product. the bars, perches, lock mechanism, etc are all top of the line. The cage hooks together securely, is easy to assemble and ways so much less that non aluminum cages. I'm so impressed with this product that I bought the large version for when my guy is away from home.
