Every bird should have a rope perch in their cage. Easily our black-capped conure's favourite. She's on it like 95% of the time. She also loves ripping the threads apart. Just be careful to trim long loose pieces as your bird's little toes can get caught...
I use these perches in all of my cages. All of my birds like them, and they are easy to clean, I just toss them in the washing machine. I have never had a birds nail get stuck in them
